2012 WORKSHOPS NOW BOOKING

BOOK - "SOUND HEALING WITH GONGS" Sheila's book, "Sound Healing with Gongs - a Gong book for Beginners" was published in December 2010, & can be ordered from the Products page of this website. Please see the Testimonials page - the book is already getting some great reviews. A number of synchronicities led to Sheila writing this book, which is one of the first of its' kind on the subject. This is virtually the first book of its kind on the use of gongs for Sound Healing and so the book is certainly much needed. It has been written in the true spirit of the gong teachings - this is ancient knowledge that has been forgotten over aeons, which now needs to be shared and known universally. The book has been written in plain simple language for anyone to understand, and covers all the basic information necessary to start learning about and playing the gong. It is suitable for people who are already budding gong players, as well as beginners. It includes a colour photo section & delightful illustrations by talented young artist Emma Pattihis. The first year of the College of Sound Healing Gong Practitioner Training course was concluded in October 2011, & the 2011-12 course is now well underway. This is a CMA- certificated Gong Training course written by Sheila for the College, & is part of the College of Sound Healing main curriculum. This course runs alongside the College basic Sound Healing training as a separate entity. The Gong course specialises in the use of gongs for Sound Healing. The Practitioner Training is held on four weekends plus a graduation weekend, over the period of just over one year. Completion of this training, which has been approved & certificated by the Complimentary Medical Association, will give participants the information, knowledge and tools required to become a specialist gong practitioner. GONG CD - "SOUNDS of STILLNESS"
Sheila's most recent Gong CD - "Sounds of Stillness - A Journey into the 3rd Ear" is available to buy from this website. "Sounds of Stillness" was recorded during 2007 & includes a seven-minute track of the unique 60" Universal Gong. There are three Gong meditations on this CD which is ideal for deep relaxation, meditation, & to accompany your therapy work.
